The Quail Hollow Animal Hospital team of skilled veterinarians welcomes you to our practice. We are proudly serving the Wesley Chapel area. At Quail Hollow Animal Hospital, it is our daily privilege to provide quality vet care to your cherished pet, with compassion and competence. We hope to ensure a positive impact on our patients, pet owners and the local community.


Dr. Alexis de Gale

Dr. Alexis de Gale graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Following graduation, she moved to New York City where she completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at NYC Veterinary Specialists (now BluePearl Veterinary Partners). After completion of the internship, she returned to Florida and worked at a small animal hospital in Orlando for 4 years. She then moved to Chicago in 2013 and worked as an emergency veterinarian for 2 years. While she loved living in a big city again, she was eager to return home to Florida.

Dr. de Gale was an associate veterinarian at Quail Hollow Animal Hospital for several years and now serves as the hospital’s medical director. She looks forward to meeting new people and their pets and building lifelong bonds with them. Her special interests include dentistry, internal medicine and emergency/critical care. Dr. de Gale is passionate about teaching and often has students shadowing her at the hospital. She is an assistant professor with the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, participating in the Practice Based Small Animal Clerkship program for senior veterinary students.

In her free time, she can be found spending time with her husband Alex and sons Leo and Henry. She enjoys reading, bike riding on Bayshore Blvd, kayaking and playing volleyball. Her pets include a pug mix dog named Kiki, a three-legged cat named Kermit and several Diamondback Terrapin turtles.


Dr. Heidi J. Goss

Dr. Goss graduated from the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She started Quail Hollow Animal Hospital in 1994 and built and moved into our state of the art new building at our current location in 2004. In 2006 she was certified in Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Gainesville. Dr. Goss has three rescue dogs (Zoey, Toto and Cindy) one rabbit (Macy) and 1 human daughter (Ashley). Dr. Goss loves to travel, scuba dive, kayak and paddleboard. She has become an avid RVer and has a fifth wheel so she can travel with her dogs.


Dr. Parrish Tanner

Dr. Tanner graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Tanner began practicing at Quail Hollow Animal hospital in 2004, and he has been our managing DVM since 2014. In his spare time Dr. Tanner enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children. Biking and fishing are just a few of his hobbies.


Dr. Caroline Fisher Aparicio

Dr. Aparicio was born in Tampa, Florida. She attained her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her veterinary degree from Mississippi State University. Although she is a Florida native, she has lived in New Jersey, Virginia, Mississippi, and most recently Fayetteville, Arkansas. She practiced in Fayetteville at a small animal hospital for a year and a half before moving back home to Tampa in 2015. She enjoys running, hiking, skiing, travel, and hanging out with her husband, their pack of Labrador retrievers, Felicity, Bella, Cookie, and Ginger, and black cat, Monty. While she and her family will miss the mountain life, they’re happy to trade it for the beach life once again! Dr. Aparicio is a great listener, has a gentle touch, and looks forward to meeting you and taking care of your furry loved ones.


Dr. Noel Berger

Dr. Noel Berger graduated veterinary school from Cornell University in 1988, then earned the MS degree in clinical sciences in 1989. Following a residency in Veterinary Pathology he engaged in general practice and later became a certified diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery in 2000. He has previously owned two very successful veterinary hospitals, and now chooses to focus his professional efforts exclusively on patient care.

He is first author of several peer-reviewed papers in regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, veterinary laser surgery and laboratory diagnostics. He has co-authored book chapters, and published a textbook of small animal laser surgery. He is an internationally recognized speaker, having taught hundreds of veterinarians and technicians how to use therapeutic and surgical lasers to safely minimize pain and inflammation, and increase the speed of healing. Dr. Berger’s professional interests include ultrasound and echocardiography, dentistry, ear care, laser therapy and laser surgery. Dr. Berger is a native New Yorker, but you would never know it since he left his accent up North to freeze. He grew up near Fort Lauderdale and knew Dr. Goss in college at the University of Florida. He is now returning home and joining us to be closer to friends and family. He loves SCUBA diving, fishing and BBQ, so returning to Florida is a naturally welcome lifestyle for his family including wife of over 25 years and three teenage children. Even his many beloved pets are lit up by the warmth and sunshine offered by living here. You will appreciate Dr. Berger’s unique blend of professionalism and playfulness as we welcome him to care for your furry family members.


Dr. Stephanie Knapp

Dr. Knapp was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has been practicing in the Tampa area since graduation. Dr. Knapp received her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL, in 2007. She has also gone on to complete additional courses at the Chi Institute in Advanced Small Animal Veterinary Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine for Dermatology and Oncology, as well as a course in Food Therapy. Her professional interests include: veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine, behavioral medicine, preventative medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and nutrition. In her spare time, Dr. Knapp enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting on canvas with acrylics, horseback riding, gardening, and watching Gator football. Go Gators!
