Dr. Knapp was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has been practicing in the Tampa area since graduation. Dr. Knapp received her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in Reddick, FL in 2007. She has also gone on to complete additional courses at the Chi Institute in Advanced Small Animal Veterinary Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine for Dermatology and Oncology, as well as a course in Food Therapy. Her professional interests include veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine, behavioral medicine, preventative medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and nutrition. In her spare time, Dr. Knapp enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also loves horseback riding, gardening, and watching Gator football!
